Mudlark and the Royal Shakespeare Company present

What is this all about?

Two families in the same town have loathed one another for years. But a boy from one and a girl from the other fall in love - deep, sweet and destructive. You know the tale of Romeo and Juliet but now you can see it happening live and in real time - in modern Britain and on Twitter. Six characters live the story over the five weeks of Such Tweet Sorrow and you can experience it with them. Find out more.

Loving this so much! I want to see more productions like this in the future. This is like an intriguing soap opera happening all day long. Maybe more videos showing the characters doing things, or more playlists synced to the action. I hope that when the characters start dying we get to see it somehow, not just read about it.

It's all very well and good but Twitter is a MULTI social networking platform. I have replied to julietcap16's tweets and got nothing back. If you want to make this truly Twitter dependent, then allow the characters to reply to tweets from outside the group.

So no one (especially Juliet) has Tweeted since 9:30am (EST) yesterday (Tuesday). What's the point in following if there's nothing to follow? I'm so disappointed. I started following the day I saw your story on the news. What's the deal? Is there more? Is this a way to avoid the suicide scene at the end? (Ha) And for what it's worth, Romeo's tweets are awesome. Juliet's are pretty generic. LaurenceFriar and Nurse Jess are great too.
This project is such a good idea. Don't squander it. I think you can do better than this for your sponsors and especially for yourselves as artists.

    Hey,

Just a quick mid-performance thanks to all of you. Really enjoying it. Spreading the word and checking my Blackberry for new entries entirely too often.

    Thanks, Jen
